Once upon a time, I made a perfectly reasonable decision: I was going to be the perfect mother. Obviously. Somewhere between four kids, forgotten permission slips, unanswered texts, and a life that refused to stay organized, I finally realized something- I was never supposed to have it all together.

Four kids. One backyard pool. Approximately 47 cries of “Mom, watch this!” and one mother desperately trying to keep everyone alive. Somewhere in the chaos, though, is the part I know I’ll miss someday.
